So after having such an incredible time in Bali, I wanted to share my trip with you all! I’ve never been to Bali before so starting off at the Arwana Estate was such a great way to start the holiday! The villas were located in Umalas, and is a short cab journey (10 mins) to Seminyak.
We stayed at Villa Dani within the Arwana Estate, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was a magical stay from the start; with the beautiful rustic entrance with a large authentic door, to the 24/7 help from the lovely staff.
The villa itself was stunning, occupying your own private pool, beautiful water feature, large outdoor bed, lounge area, kitchen and grand separate bedroom equipped with a beautiful bath, massage room and his and her sinks. Everything was authentically decorated and the attention to detail was second to none. Fresh flowers and plants were perfectly placed all around the villa, which left it looking and smelling amazing. The pool was a great size and I woke up each day to have an early morning swim to start the day. The bedroom suite had a huge bed, which was decorated with fresh flowers and gorgeous drapes. The bathroom also had a beautiful feature bath with a large window to see the outside scenery.
I have to say, the staff made our entire stay wonderful – anything you wanted both within or outside the villa was just a phone call away. We went exploring around the area a few times, and the staff made it really easy to get a taxi and gave us tips on where to head out to. I also loved that there was a ‘turn down’ service in the late afternoon, where the staff made our beds, sprayed our room with mosquito spray and checked if we needed anything else – such a nice touch!
The Food & Drink
Breakfast as we all know is my favourite meal of the day, and breakfast here was delicious! We had this made for us by our own personal Chef every day – spoilt I know! There was lots of choice, but we would usually choose an array of fresh fruit, fruit juice of our choice and coffee. We didn’t take advantage, but I also noticed that you can enjoy a romantic meal cooked from the Chef herself, with a made to order meal! Our neighbours had a BBQ the first night which smelled divine. We’ll definitely be checking this out next time!
We usually had our breakfast in the dining area of our villa, as we had a lovely view of the water feature on one side and the pool to the other. It was also still lovely and cool at this time in the morning.
Based so close to the popular area of Seminyak, we were only a short journey from the hustle and bustle of shops, bars and cafes which was great! We did go for an explore around the area and we found a little coffee shop which was fab, but generally we would travel to Seminyak as it was close by.
Other things I loved…
On our last evening we both had a massage on our large bed outside – it was unbelievable, leaving us so relaxed and knot-free after our long flight – just what we needed! There was also an extensive food, drink and services menu, which was perfect when you fancied a snack in the afternoon.
It was the little things made the stay perfect, such as the sound system (which also charged your phone), the beautiful daily flower arrangement, the amenities provided – I had forgotten my toothbrush so having this extra was fab! The whole villa was beautiful and we definitely got a feel for the Balinese culture with all the lovely decorations. Some mornings we would wake up and do yoga or a quick HIIT workout by the pool before it got too hot. There was so much space it was perfect for workouts.

Everything about this Villa was amazing – I wish we could have stayed for longer! If you have any questions on the villa or the area itself, let me know in the comments below and I’ll do my best to answer!
